Euxton Park Care Home in England is seeking experienced Senior Care Assistants to join our team in a CHAPS role, supporting residents in our nursing, dementia and LD units. Two positions are available: Day CHAPS (44 hours) and Night CHAPS (48 hours).

You will report to the Registered Manager, supervising staff, delivering high-quality care, and upholding residents’ dignity and independence with compassion.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Current experience as Senior Care Assistant or similar role.
• Strong communication, literacy and numeracy abilities.
• Ability to lead, supervise and motivate colleagues.
• Caring, patient and supportive approach with residents’ wellbeing.
• Willingness to develop clinical knowledge and training.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care per individual care plans.
• Support assessments, care planning and reviews; report changes.
• Record admissions and ongoing observations; escalate concerns.
• Administer medication in line with policies and training.
• Provide guidance to Care Assistants and role modelling.
• Maintain records and ensure health, safety and policy compliance.
