Job summary

Lancashire County Council is looking for a Senior Care Assistant in Skelmersdale to support older people with dignity and respect. The role is part-time (23.33 hours per week) and permanent, with a pro rata salary.

You will hold an NVQ Level 2 in health and social care (or equivalent) and be prepared to complete Level 3. Experience in leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver high quality care is essential.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will need to hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care and be willing to complete level 3. In addition, you will have experience leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver high quality care.

Our committed team provides care to more than 1,000 adults across Lancashire. It runs 16 Care Homes and 13 Day Centres where the team provides support for older people, adults living with dementia and their families.

Local Government Reorganisation
