Avery Healthcare Group invites applications for a Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Priory Court Care Home in Stamford. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring and inclusive environment.

Join us to provide person-centred care, monitor wellbeing, and support residents and colleagues during night shifts. A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required and supported by Avery.

Qualifications

• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Have 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Be flexible and responsive to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans as needed.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervision and support staff development.
• Act as main contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health/social care professionals; escalate concerns as needed.
