Job summary

Crispin Court Care Home in Stafford is seeking a Senior Care Assistant – Nights to join our award-winning team. Shift is 7 PM to 7 AM, delivering high standards of personal care in a safe, compassionate environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The role involves monitoring wellbeing, participating in person-centered planning, assisting with medications, and supporting staff development while maintaining respectful, inclusive care at all times.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude toward supporting and nurturing residents and staff.

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans as needed.
• Support person-centred care planning with monthly evaluations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

• Other responsibilitieswillinclude:Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
• Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
• Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

• Have 2 years’ experience working in similar care environment.

• Beresponsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
