ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Other responsibilities include:

• Monitoring residents' wellbeing, noting changes affecting care plans, and updating records accordingly.
• Participating in person-centred care planning, including monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
• Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, addressing requests, concerns, and complaints appropriately.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
• Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Be flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
