Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant for Rowan Court Care Home in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will work with the care team to provide high standards of personal care in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

You will monitor wellbeing, contribute to monthly care plan evaluations, support residents with medications, and assist with staff development. DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Aufgaben

• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and update care plans as needs change.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication administration.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as primary contact for residents, relatives and health and social care professionals, handling requests and escalation of concerns.
