Job summary

St Philip's Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Chilton Care Centre to lead a team and support the Manager in daily operations. You will safeguard residents’ dignity and independence through person-centred care and effective supervision.

You will participate in care planning, medication delivery, and mandatory training while ensuring a safe and respectful environment for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Previous experience of as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home.
• A Passion for Care of the Elderly.
• Experience of Medication Administration

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of care workers to provide high standards of care.
• Assist the Manager in overall home management and cover in their absence.
• Promote residents' rights, dignity and person-centred care.
• Maintain care planning, medication administration and safety for residents.
• Monitor residents' condition and report hazards or changes to the Manager.
• Ensure policies and mandatory training are followed.
