St Philip's Care Group is seeking a committed Senior Care Assistant for The Maple Care Centre in Tees Valley. You will lead a small team, support the manager, and ensure high standards of person-centred care for residents.

The role covers day and night shifts within a warm, supportive home; you will contribute to care planning, medication administration, and ongoing staff development, delivering dignified, independent living for residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Previous senior experience in a residential care or nursing home.
• Passion for elderly care and commitment to dignity.
• Experience of medication administration.

Responsabilités

• Lead and co-ordinate a team of care workers to deliver high standards of care.
• Support the Manager and assume responsibilities in their absence.
• Promote person-centred care and maximise resident independence.
• Contribute to care planning, monitor changes in residents' condition, and maintain confidentiality.
• Move/handle residents safely, assist with daily hygiene, and participate in mandatory training.
• Ensure service delivery aligns with policies and procedures.
