Job summary

The Maple Care Centre in Tees Valley is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to cover day and night bank shifts. You will support the Manager, supervise care staff, and ensure the residents receive high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining dignity.

You will be involved in care planning, medication administration, and daily activities, with training provided, induction paid, and opportunities to progress. Flexible hours and rewards schemes are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Experience as a senior in a residential or nursing home.
• Experience with medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in overall home management.
• Lead and coordinate a team of care workers to deliver high-quality care.
• Assist residents with daily activities and promote independence.
• Ensure care planning and confidentiality are maintained.
• Attend training and mandatory courses as required.
• Deliver service in line with policies and procedures.
