Job summary

St Philip's Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant Nights for The Maple Care Centre in Tees Valley. You will lead a team to deliver person-centred care, assist residents with daily activities, and ensure dignity and independence are maintained.

The role includes supporting the Manager in running the home and stepping in during their absence. The ideal candidate has NVQ3/MA L3 in Health & Social Care (or working toward it), with prior senior experience in residential/nursing settings and a

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 /MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
• Previous experience as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home.
• A Passion for Care of the Elderly.
• Experience of Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coordinate a team of care workers to provide high standards of care.
• Assist residents daily care needs as needed.
• Promote residents’ participation in care planning and reviews.
• Maintain medication and care delivery for a designated group of residents.
• Ensure confidentiality and rights of residents are respected.
• Attend mandatory training and complete service-related policies.
