Home Instead is expanding in the Mendip Hills, Midsomer Norton & Frome to serve North and East Somerset. We are hiring a Senior Care Assistant to join a compassionate team delivering high-quality home care in clients’ own homes.

You will provide personalized care, support clients with daily activities, and build meaningful relationships. Competitive hourly pay, training, and opportunities for progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is preferred but not always essential.
• Reliable and adaptable to changing client needs.
• Willingness to attend training and develop skills.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with getting up and starting their day and evening routines.
• Support with medication, personal care and daily activities.
• Help with light household tasks and meal preparation for balanced diets.
• Record visits and participate in on-call rota as required.
