Job summary

Home Instead Mendip Hills is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our growing team and support clients across Cheddar, Winscombe, the Mendip Hills and surrounding villages. You will help clients live safely and independently in their own homes with compassionate, person-centered care.

This full-time role offers 30 guaranteed hours per week at £13 per hour, with perks including paid mileage, training through our Care Skills Academy, pension and holiday pay, and strong career

Qualifications

• We’re looking for someone who is caring, reliable and passionate about delivering high-quality care.
• Previous care experience is desirable.
• You must be aged 18 or over.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients get up and ready for the day.
• Providing personal care and assistance with daily routines.
• Helping with household tasks and keeping homes comfortable.
• Preparing meals and supporting with teatime routines.
• Assisting with evening and bedtime routines.
• Supporting the office team with day-to-day tasks and guiding fellow Care Assistants in the field.
