Job summary

Home Instead is expanding in the Mendip Hills area (Midsomer Norton, Frome, Cheddar, Radstock and surrounding villages) and seeks kind, dependable Care Professionals to join our new office. You will provide companionship and practical support to older adults in their own homes, building meaningful relationships and ensuring safety and comfort.

The role covers varied tasks from meal prep and daily routines to mobility assistance and light household duties.

Qualifications

• Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support
• Able to assist with daily routines and mobility as needed
• Able to follow care plans and communicate effectively with families

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support
• Preparing meals and helping with daily routines
• Supporting with medication and personal care
• Assisting clients living with dementia, Parkinson's, stroke recovery and other health conditions
• Assisting with simple clinical tasks and home support
• Assisting with outings, appointments and shopping
• Housekeeping and home support
• Helping clients remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes
