Jasmine Healthcare seeks a dedicated Senior Care Assistant for days or nights at South Moor Lodge Care Home, Walkeringham. The role includes 33 hours per week as part-time days (7am-7pm) and 33/44 hours per week as full-time nights (7pm-7am) with alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification in health and social care.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant in residential/nursing home setting.
• Awareness of Person-Centred Care Planning.
• Understanding of abuse prevention and reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest levels of care and daily living support to residents.
• Promoting independence with focus on choice, dignity and respect.
• Leading your shift to maintain high standards and support other team members.
• Completing daily medication rounds with accurate documentation and audits.
• Promoting good practice and conducting regular one-to-ones with care team and addressing concerns.
