Job summary

Roche Health Care seeks a Senior Care Assistant (Dementia) to join Mansion House in Drax. The role is full-time (36 hours) days, with some night coverage, delivering compassionate care to residents, including those with dementia.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 health and social care qualification (or be training towards it), be medication trained, and bring experience caring for older people, care planning, and strong teamwork.

• NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards the qualification.
• Medication trained and able to administer medicines.
• Experience meeting the needs of older people in a care setting.
• Experience with care planning and administration of medicines.
• Commitment to personal development, training and education.

Roche Health Care are wanting to recruit a Senior Care Assistant (Dementia) to join our friendly team at Mansion House in Drax

Salary: from £12.83phr for Level 3

Hours: Full time- 36hrs Days

Some flexibility required to cover nights

Experience in a Care Home setting essential

Hold a current NVQ/Diploma Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or must be working towards the qualification with relevant experience.

Essential: Medication trained

Experienced in meeting the needs of older people.

Experience of Care planning and willingness to undertake a qualification in Administration of medicines required.

Ability to provide quality care
