Cornerstone Healthcare Services Limited is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant for Kitnocks House, a 63-bed care home rated GOOD by CQC. You will support residents with daily needs, guide the care team, and promote dignity and independence in a collaborative environment.

Essential: 12 months care home experience; NVQ/QCF Level 3 or working towards; strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

Our 63-bed home is made up of four specialised units, each providing high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with complex needs, including dementia, mental health conditions, or other neurological disorders. What You’ll Bring

• * 12 months previous experience working in care home/ healthcare setting in a Senior Healthcare Assistant/ Team Lead role (essential)

Your Working Pattern

Week A - 3 days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 07.30 to 20.00

Week B - 4 days - Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday: 07.30 to 20.00

Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week.

£15.10 - £17.10 per hour (Dependant on Level 3 NVQ).

What You’ll Be Doing

• * Under supervision of the Registered Nurse, undertake support and guiding the care team to meet the daily care needs of our residents. This includes ensuring colleagues undertake allocated of breaks. support care delivery which includes personal hygiene, nutrition and hydration and participation in meaningful activities. The Senior would also participate in these activities to ensure the wellbeing of our residents is achieved.
• * Prioritising workload of the care team, seeking advice from the nurse in charge where necessary.
• * Participate in meetings including staff meetings, case reviews, clinical reviews, as prescribed by the Nurse in charge.
• * Helping residents to remain as independent as possible.
• * Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times.
