Rate of Pay:

  • Weekdays: £13.93
  • Weekends: £14.21

Contract Type: Bank Zero Hours

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the Home Manager, Deputy, and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the home's management. The role involves supporting residents with personal care and ensuring the training and development of staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager, Deputy Manager, and Assistant Manager in running the home efficiently and compassionately in their absence.
  • Conduct handovers and ensure all residents are accounted for at shift start and end.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the home and foster a positive atmosphere by leading by example.
  • Support staff training and monitor the in-house training program to high standards.
  • Support residents with personal care, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist residents in using the environment according to their care plan and Mobile Care Monitoring System (MCM).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills with residents and staff.
