Job summary

RDCP Care Limited is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Nights) for Coton House in Wolverhampton. The role focuses on delivering person-centred care to residents, including those living with dementia, and supporting a compassionate care team during night shifts.

You will supervise staff, contribute to care plans, and ensure safe medication administration. DBS checks and references are standard, and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care completed or being pursued.
• Experience in care environments, with a focus on older adults and dementia.
• Ability to supervise and support care teams and contribute to care planning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and involvement, where appropriate, in care reviews.
• Ensure the safe storage, documentation and administration of medication is carried out in accordance with guidelines and training.
• Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and nutrition
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the care environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

We are looking for a caring, experienced, and motivated Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to join our dedicated team at Coton House.

• Schedule: Rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Rate of pay: Up to £13.62 per hour
• Required: Completed or working towards completion of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
