Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Scotland to provide compassionate, person-centred support to residents. You will work 22.5 hours per week, supporting nurses and supervising care staff while building strong relationships with residents and families.

Applicants should hold a current SVQ Level 3 qualification plus a health and social care background. The role offers training and development opportunities within a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Current SVQ Level 3 qualification is essential.
• Health and Social care qualification is preferred.
• Experience in the care industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, person-centred care to residents.
• Supervise and motivate care assistants as part of the team.
• Assist residents with her/his physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Support families and liaise with nursing staff and managers.
• Engage residents in daily activities and social interactions.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and document wellbeing.
