Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in the UK is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant for Braintree Mews Care Home in Braintree. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The ideal candidate has an NVQ 3 or equivalent, at least two years’ experience in a similar care setting, and strong communication skills. DBS clearance is funded by Avery and you must have eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in care homes or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring environment.
• Support residents with daily activities and wellbeing.
• Assist with care planning and record-keeping.
• Provide supervision and support to care team when required.
