Hafod Housing Association Limited in Pontypool is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support management in delivering high standards of person-centred care in a residential home. This hands-on role involves supporting personal care, overseeing care delivery and aiding with medication when trained, within a warm, dignified environment.

Qualifications

• Clinical and practical competence in care delivery.
• Ability to supervise and support personal care and mobility.
• Must be registered, or willing to register, with Social Care Wales (SCW).

Responsabilités

• Support the day-to-day running of the home alongside management, ensuring high standards of care.
• Provide and oversee personal and practical care, including mobility, hygiene, nutrition and wellbeing support.
• Develop, review and maintain accurate care plans and records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Administer, order and monitor medication (when authorised) and maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, taking observations and liaising with healthcare professionals.
