Job summary

Hafod is seeking a compassionate female Care Assistant to support residents at Brocastle Manor Care Home in Wales. The role has an occupational requirement for female staff to respect residents' privacy and dignity.

You will help with daily living activities, personal care, meals and wellbeing routines, building trusting relationships and promoting independence. We offer training and supportive teams with opportunities to grow in care.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to achieve their personal wellbeing outcomes by promoting independence, encouraging choice, and enabling meaningful involvement in activities that matter to them
• Provide companionate personal and practical support to residents, including activities of daily living, mobility, personal care such as washing, dressing and helping people use the bathroom, while actively promoting their dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing
• Build positive, trusting relationships, offering kindness, conversation and emotional support to help residents feel safe and valued
• Digitally monitor and record care support accurately, following care plans, reporting concerns and keeping colleagues informed
