About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will be involved in providing care across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your role is to understand that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and to give back through compassionate care.
You will plan and implement care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. Building relationships with residents and their families, you will help deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care, serve as a positive influence, and support residents with activities and medication administration.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, kindness, and ability to manage time effectively are essential.
