About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us provides a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You'll get to know residents and their families, helping to create personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll ensure high standards of care and positively influence your team. Your tasks may involve assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communicating with families, always with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager by providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent and be willing to work towards Level 3. Knowledge of person-centered care planning and dementia care is essential. Your positive energy, ability to manage time effectively, and considerate communication are vital qualities.
