Job summary

Advinia is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead care teams and deliver high-quality, resident-centred care. You will work closely with Nurses or Deputy Manager to administer medications, supervise staff, and update care plans to ensure wellbeing and dignity for residents.

The role recognises the importance of ongoing training, CQC compliance, and a hands-on leadership approach to improve daily care and staff development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent required.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Your New Role...

Our talented Senior Care Assistants lead our Care Teams to provide the highest standard of care, compassion and resident dignity. Working closely with the Nurses orDeputy Manager, you will be tasked with:

• Administering medication
• Providing hands on, high quality Resident Care
• Team supervisions
• Developing, implementing and updating care plans
• Adhering to CQC guidelines
• Coaching and mentoring your team whilst identifying training needs

The day shift is: 08:00 – 20:00

  Due to the nature of this role we need for you to hold an NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent, and have experience within a similar role.
