Job summary

Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

You will manage shift operations, ensure safe, consistent care, oversee medication administration and monitor residents’ wellbeing, reporting changes to the care team and families.

This role offers full-time hours, hourly pay of £14.55, and benefits including PVG, pension and annual leave.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care minimum; Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised and delivered to a high standard
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents’ wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care records and liaise with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £14.55 per hour
• Contracted to full time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

We Are Looking For
