Qualifications

Senior Care Practitioner (days) – Burscough Manor Care Home
  • £14.45 per hour
  • 33 hours per week
  • Day Shifts: 3x 8am – 8pm on a rolling rota, including some weekend working

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Practitioner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated group of professionals who are committed to enhancing the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking any necessary training
  • Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities.
  • Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
  • Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, which may involve staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, liaising with outside professionals, interviewing etc.
What we are looking for?
  • Supervisory / leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • A positive outlook and warm personality
  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
  • Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
  • Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
