Lighthouse Lodge Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is a modern 80-bed facility in New Brighton, Merseyside providing residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a warm, person-centred environment. We seek a Senior Care Assistant to guide shifts, oversee medication and maintain high standards while building strong team communication.

You will work alternate weekends, with NVQ2 minimum and Level 3 desirable, and may pursue Medication administration training to enhance competency.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum) with Level 3 desirable.
• Willingness to work towards Medication administration training with competency.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support the care team during shifts to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents' wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with families and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure smooth, well-organised care on each shift and respond to changes promptly.

Lighthouse Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose built 80 bed care home in New Brighton, Merseyside, delivering high quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a warm, supportive and person centred environment.

Senior Care Assistant Contract £13.71 per hour Contracted to 49 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard.

Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
