Job summary

Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home is seeking a caring Care Assistant to deliver high quality, person-centred care to residents in a modern 79-bed home in the UK. You will assist with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans to maintain dignity and independence.

The role is open to those new to care with full training and development provided. You will work as part of a supportive team with a requirement to alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.

Job description

Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose built 79 bed care home in Southport, Merseyside, delivering high quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a supportive, person centred environment.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 36 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
