Aria Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join their team at Scoonie House, a 36-bedded residential home in Leven, Fife. The role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents, while also taking on a leadership role and encouraging the development and growth of the care team.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting both residents and staff in their daily lives. This includes assisting with personal care, medication administration, and other daily activities. You will also be expected to take on a leadership role, providing guidance and support to your team, and helping to drive positive change within the home. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, respectful, and have a growth mindset, with a desire to learn and develop their skills.

Person Specification

Qualifications (Essential)

• Relevant experience in a senior care assistant or similar role, with a good understanding of elderly residents' care needs. A qualification in health and social care or related field is advantageous.
