Orchard Care Homes Ltd. in Houghton-le-Spring is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to lead our care team and deliver high-quality, person-centred support to residents at Philadelphia Lane.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll play a key leadership role within our care team. You’ll be responsible for assessing individual needs, developing person-centred care plans, and ensuring that medical, physical, and emotional support is delivered to the highest standard. You’ll also supervise and mentor care staff, helping them grow and maintain best practices.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading and supporting the care team to deliver high-quality care

Administering medication safely and accurately

Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and updating care records

Liaising with healthcare professionals and families

Supporting residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities

We’re seeking someone who is:
