Job summary

Brambrey Court Care Home in Histon, Cambridge, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to supervise shifts, lead the team, and manage records while delivering compassionate personal care to residents.

You will follow electronic care plans, administer prescribed medications, and help maintain a safe, clean home. A supportive team and ongoing training are provided to develop skills.

Qualifications

• You must have the ability to effectively supervise and manage care staff.
• You'll follow electronic care plans for each resident and administer medication as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both.
• You must be alert at all times to our residents' physical and mental well being.
• You will help maintain our high standards ensuring our residents' home is always clean and safe.

About the role

As our Senior Care Assistant, you'll manage and overseethe shift byleading and motivating theteam, managing daily records, assisting withcare plans. You'll provide personal care to our residents, supporting them with bathing. Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their needs.
