Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Waterloo Care Home in Dorset. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, support residents with daily living, and lead activities and engagement. The role requires leadership, compassion, and a calm, confident team presence.

The position is 42 hours per week, 8am–8pm with alternate weekends. Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK and Level 2 Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3) are required; on-site training and progression

• Level 2 Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3).
• Senior Care Assistant; 42 hours per week, 8am–8pm with alternate weekends.
• Caring, confident team player with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and lead high-quality, person-centred care.
• Support residents with personal care, dignity and independence.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Contribute to and review care plans; lead activities and engagement.
• Support and guide team members, stepping up when needed.

We’re Looking For

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• Level 2 Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3)
• A Senior Care Assistant to work 42 hours per week to from 8am to 8pm to include alternative weekends
• A caring, confident team player with leadership qualities

Your Role

• Deliver and lead high-quality, person-centred care
