A leading care provider in Falkirk seeks a Senior Care Assistant to deliver personalized care and lead a team. This full-time role requires compassion and dedication to maintaining high standards of care, ensuring residents' dignity and independence.
About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at Brinnington Hall Care Home, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our care. You will plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your duties include showing residents how to use mobility aids, assisting at mealtimes, talking with families, providing social and recreational activities, and administering medication.
One key responsibility is to maintain accurate records and build strong team relationships. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training is required, along with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns if necessary.
