Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Night Senior Care Assistant at Victoria Lodge to lead a night team and deliver high-quality, resident-focused care. You’ll promote dignity and independence while coordinating care across the night shift.

You will supervise staff, ensure accurate handovers, and support residents with late-night routines in a warm, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
• Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Compassionate and caring nature with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff and work with IT systems.
• Flexible approach to working hours and initiative.

The Role

As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high quality, individualised care and support to residents during the night time, promoting each person’s privacy, dignity and independence, be responsible for supervising and leading the shift and team members, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are carrying out a direct observation on a care assistant supporting someone to have a late night snack, checking that a resident’s turning chart has been completed, giving a detailed handover to the morning team, or assisting a resident to get ready for bed in the evening, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
