Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a Night Senior Care Assistant for Ramsgate Care Centre. You will provide high-quality, individualised care to residents at night, supervise the shift, and lead team members to maintain a warm, dignified and safe environment.

Essential: at least 2 years’ residential care experience and a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care; excellent communication and IT skills; ability to motivate staff and work independently as well as with others. DBS check required.

The Role

As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high quality, individualised care and support to residents during the night time, promoting each person’s privacy, dignity and independence, be responsible for supervising and leading the shift and team members, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are carrying out a direct observation on a care assistant supporting someone to have a late night snack, checking that a resident’s turning chart has been completed, giving a detailed handover to the morning team, or assisting a resident to get ready for bed in the evening, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
