Ty LLandaff Care Home in Cardiff is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to lead a team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our 69 residents within a luxurious environment. You will oversee each shift, ensure safe, organised care, and communicate clearly with families and healthcare professionals.
We offer 44 hours per week at £13.71 per hour, paid DBS, pension, uniform, and 5.6 weeks of annual leave. Weekend shifts are required; sponsorship is not offered at this time.
Our luxury care home in Portcanna, Cardiff, offers exceptional Nursing and Residential care for 69-residents, providing a refined and comfortable environment where personalized care and elegant living come together.
As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
