Job summary

Amarna House Care Home in York, run by Avery Healthcare Group, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the care team in delivering personal care and wellbeing monitoring. You will help update care plans, assist with medication and contribute to monthly evaluations.

Applicants must have an NVQ 3 in care, two years’ experience in a similar setting, a DBS disclosure and proof of right to work in the UK. You will also carry out staff supervision and act as a primary contact for residents,

• Act as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals
• Act on reasonable requests and escalations concerns or complaints
• Help provide a safe, caring, inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff
