Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service on a 5‑month fixed-term basis. You will lead specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for cardiovascular patients across acute and community settings, providing clinical leadership and supervision to colleagues and students.

The role emphasizes service development, quality improvement, and participation in a 7-day rota as part of a multidisciplinary team

Competenze

• Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Masters level study or progression towards MSc in a relevant area.
• Experience leading cardiac rehabilitation and multidisciplinary teams.

Mansioni

• Lead the clinical delivery, development and leadership of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Service.
• Provide highly specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation across inpatient, outpatient and community pathways.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision and teaching to physiotherapy staff and students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in 7-day working rota.
