Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (Echo) to join its busy team. You will work across Maidstone Hospital, Tunbridge Wells Hospital and the community diagnostic centre, performing echocardiography and related non-invasive tests.

Registration with HCPC or AHCS is desirable. The post includes potential for development in echocardiography, with training and leadership opportunities, and R&R premiums for accreditation.

Qualifications

• Holds a degree in clinical physiology/cardiology with registration or accreditation desirable.
• Experience in echocardiography and non-invasive cardiology is essential.
• Capable of training and mentoring other staff in echo and non-invasive techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography, stress echo, valve clinic and TOE.
• Train and educate physiologists and staff in echo/non-invasive.
• Contribute to development of cardiology services across all sites.
