Job summary

KIMS Hospital invites applications for a Senior Cardiac Physiologist to lead Cardiorespiratory services. The role focuses on echocardiography to BSE standards, team development and clinical governance across inpatient, outpatient and interventional settings.

The successful candidate will work with consultants and the broader cardiology team, contributing to service development while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. This is a part-time, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification as a trained Physiologist.
• Extensive post-registration experience performing echocardiograms to BSE standards.
• Experience in cardiac catheter laboratory including pacing, angiography, PCI and electrophysiological studies.
• Experience in ETT/TILT, Stress Echo, Holter monitoring or blood pressure monitoring with change management.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in the day-to-day delivery of Cardiorespiratory services.
• Undertake and support cardiac investigations including echocardiography to BSE standards.
• Support workforce planning and service delivery including pacing, angiography, PCI and electrophysiological studies.
• Champion clinical governance, quality and patient safety, and contribute to audits and policy development.
• Develop the team through training, professional development, innovation and change management.
