Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Perfusion Scientist to join the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Care Group. You will contribute to a high‑performing service across adult and paediatric cardiac procedures, within a leading UK centre, and work in a collaborative, supportive environment.

The role offers a 37.5-hour week over 3 days, relocation support, and access to a comprehensive NHS benefits package.

Qualifications

• MSc in Clinical Perfusion Science or equivalent knowledge/experience required.
• Accreditation by the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists essential.
• Full registration with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists required.

Responsibilities

• Provide perfusion support for a wide range of cardiac procedures.
• Deliver high quality care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in department on‑call rota and professional development.
