Job summary

The AA in Westminster is seeking a Senior Operations Performance Analyst to turn complex data into actionable recommendations, focusing on CarCare performance, demand, capacity, and productivity.

Reporting to the CarCare Operations Director, you will work with Operations, Product, Finance, Technology to test assumptions and shape priorities. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to influence strategic decisions and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capability with experience handling, interpreting and visualising data to generate meaningful business insight.
• Experience building analytical, operational or scenario models for demand, capacity, productivity, or cost to serve.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear insight.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in CarCare, one of The AA's major growth priorities, using insight to influence how a growing operation performs and evolves.
• Work directly with senior stakeholders, turning complex operational data into recommendations that shape real business decisions.
• Build and develop analytical models covering demand, capacity, productivity and operational performance, with the opportunity to see your insight translate into action.
• Analyse operational performance to identify trends, root causes, risks and opportunities, translating findings into clear recommendations.
• Build and maintain practical models covering demand, capacity, workforce requirements, productivity, cost to serve and different operational scenarios.
• Turn performance data into meaningful insight, identifying the story behind the numbers and recommending actions that improve operational and customer outcomes.
• Develop clear performance narratives and analysis for senior stakeholders across measures including demand, conversion, utilisation, capacity, productivity and service performance.
• Work collaboratively across Operations, Product, Finance, Technology and other teams to gather information, test assumptions and translate analysis into action.
• Support strategic decision making by structuring complex problems, quantifying potential impact and providing constructive, evidence-based challenge.
