Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland's Infrastructure segment seeks a Senior Environmental Sustainability Advisor to coordinate carbon management across UK transport projects, including a large high-speed rail program in southern England. You will report to the Sector Carbon Manager and project Environmental leads, ensuring alignment with BAM's sustainability strategy and client requirements.

You will lead stakeholder engagement, identify and champion carbon reduction opportunities, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Understanding of carbon management principles and PAS2080.
• Familiarity with life cycle assessment (LCA) and carbon accounting.
• Experience with data reporting and stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead carbon management activities across projects and liaise with supply chain partners.
• Plan, chair and coordinate regular carbon meetings; track progress and actions.
• Develop and maintain understanding of opportunities for carbon reduction.
• Collaborate with design, construction and client teams to implement whole life carbon reductions.
• Contribute to development and testing of innovative carbon reduction technologies and methods.
• Compile whole life carbon emissions data and prepare client-facing reports.
