Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is recruiting a Project Manager on a permanent basis with a salary of £47,389 - £58,225 per annum. The role is based onsite in Glasgow.

You will lead capital construction and refurbishment projects, manage budgets and external teams, and ensure value engineering and sustainability considerations are integrated throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in architecture, quantity surveying, building surveying or engineering.
• Registered or chartered architect/surveyor/engineer status is preferred.
• Proven experience managing construction projects to time and budget.
• Strong knowledge of CDM and construction legislation.
• Experience with sustainability and carbon reduction in projects.
• Excellent financial management and risk control capabilities.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint required.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of capital construction and refurbishment projects from inception to handover.
• Prepare feasibility studies, business cases, and manage external teams within budgets.
• Collaborate with Strategy and Space Planning to improve space efficiency.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow and risk; report progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate procurement, tender documents and value engineering initiatives.
• Ensure commissioning, asset data, and H&S compliance on completion.
