Calibre Search is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Glasgow team and lead projects from inception through delivery for a varied portfolio spanning multiple sectors. You will take ownership, working closely with clients, contractors and professional teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Based in Glasgow, the role offers significant client exposure, autonomy and the chance to contribute to the growth of the Glasgow office while mentoring junior colleagues and supporting business

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering construction projects from inception to completion.
• Experience within a construction/property consultancy.
• Strong client facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Good understanding of building regulations and the wider construction process.
• Strong programme, budget and risk management skills.
• Experience managing professional teams, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Good commercial awareness.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Experience mentoring or supporting more junior team members.
• A relevant construction/project management qualification would be advantageous.

Senior Project Manager

Glasgow

Work as Senior Project Manager for a highly regarded property and construction consultancy in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career and work on a varied portfolio of high profile projects across multiple sectors.

The role offers significant client exposure, autonomy and the opportunity to play an important part in the continued growth of the Glasgow office.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and professional teams to ensure successful delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients and managing senior stakeholder relationships
• Managing project programmes, budgets, risks and resources
• Coordinating design teams, consultants and contractors
• Providing strategic and technical project management advice
• Managing procurement and tender processes
• Monitoring project progress, costs, quality and programme
• Managing contract administration and change control
• Preparing project reports and providing regular updates to clients
• Identifying and managing project risks and implementing appropriate mitigation
• Supporting the development of junior members of the team
• Contributing to business development and helping to secure new work where appropriate

About You

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the construction and property sector.

Ideally, you will have:

• Proven experience delivering construction projects from inception to completion
• Previous experience within a construction/property consultancy
• Strong client facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with NEC and/or JCT contracts
• Good understanding of building regulations and the wider construction process
• Strong programme, budget and risk management skills
