Job summary

Qualifications

• Post-qualification experience as clinical or counselling psychologist (minimum 2 years).
• Experience with eating disorders in children/young people within MDT settings.
• Experience of supervision/teaching to junior staff.
• Experience of applying psychology in diverse cultural contexts and in an intensive community service.
• Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment across care settings.
• Experience of research methods and data analysis for service development.

Responsibilities

• Providing evidence-based treatments for child/adolescent eating disorders including ARFID as part of the MDT.
• Providing psychological input for patients in the intensive service via MDT forums and direct work as needed.
• Overseeing and developing the collection/analysis of outcome data for the intensive service.
• Delivering therapy addressing maintaining factors (anxiety, mood, perfectionism, self-esteem, emotion regulation).
• Providing consultation and supervision to junior psychologists and other team members.
