Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to lead and develop the ARFID pathway within the CAMHS Eating Disorders team. Based in Hampstead, North London, the role involves senior psychology responsibilities including supervision, clinical leadership, and service development.

You will provide evidence-based treatments for child and adolescent eating disorders, supervise junior staff, and contribute to research and CPD.

Qualifications

• Doctoral-level training in clinical or counselling psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
• Eligibility for BPS Chartered Psychologist status.
• Post-doctoral training in one or more specialised areas of psychological practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and line management to junior colleagues within the team.
• Deliver supervision and consultation in line with ARFID pathway leadership.
• Contribute to ARFID service development and leadership within CAMHS eating disorders.
• Clinical work split between ARFID and other eating disorder presentations.
