Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust’s ARFID Pathway is seeking a Specialty Doctor to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team delivering early assessment and brief intervention for young people with ARFID. The role involves medical monitoring and collaboration across psychiatry, paediatrics, dietetics, nursing and psychology within the CEDS-CYP service in East London.

Qualifications

• Experience in child and adolescent mental health.
• Experience with ARFID or feeding disorders is desirable.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mental and physical health assessments.
• Contribute to treatment and medical monitoring where required.
• Participate in MDT meetings and joint working with paediatrics, psychiatry, dietetics and nursing.
• Engage in audit, service evaluation and QI projects.
• Support professional development and supervision within the team.
