Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatry role in Tameside CAMHS, based at the Springleigh clinic in Stalybridge. You will join a multidisciplinary CAMHS team and provide expert psychiatric assessment and management for children and young people up to 18, across Generic CAMHS and

Responsibilities

Provide Consultant psychiatric assessment and management for children and young people up to 18 within a Tier 3 CAMHS setting
Work across Generic CAMHS and Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry pathways, including Intellectual Disability
Contribute to specialised complex care pathways (e.g. cared for children, eating disorders, crisis/home treatment) based on service need and interest
Hold clinical responsibility for a defined caseload and provide consultation to the multidisciplinary team and partner agencies
Offer clinical leadership within the team, supporting triage, care planning, and risk management
Work collaboratively with partner services including Social Care, Paediatrics, Education, and Third Sector organisations
Participate in the Consultant rota, peer supervision, and provide cross-cover for colleagues
Contribute to teaching, training, service development, audit, and quality improvement
